  1. Yes. Murray and Woll are prone to injury and Stolarz hasn’t yet proven he is capable to play long stenches of games.

  2. "Can't be worse!" Fair play Jessie, way to positively sell the next goalie? Cos "He can't be worse!" FFS, Leaf nation give their backing!!

  3. I'm so sorry for whatever politics are going on. I've loved Canada as a neighbor and it's people, I wouldn't want anything to happen to that!

  4. If your biggest goalie question mark is asking who your best 3rd string guy is, you don't have a problem.

Woll had a couple iffy games at the beginning of the month, but he looks fine again. And Stolarz should be back by the end of the month and he's played at a high enough standard to not expect him to be any worse than he was in the first two months of the year. We'll be fine even if Murray and Hildeby continue to struggle at the NHL level.

PS. The goal support reminds me of Kallgren, where we couldn't score a goal for the life of us, even though he constantly gave up bad goals. Keep in mind those Leaf teams would regularly win 7-6 games (only a bit of an exaggeration), and Kallgren only gave up more than 4 goals in a game twice, and still managed only a .500 record (11-6-5).

  5. Only in Toronto could you be in first place in your division… with your number one goalie injured your backup playing solid as hell and still be complaining about Goaltending.

  6. As long as the leafs get that first round exit. I . AM . NOT . WORRIED . AT . ALL . 🙂 🎉

  7. Andersen's last playoff with the Leafs, 5 games, 1.84 goals against and a 0.936 save percentage. Naw, we do not need him. Year after in Caronlina 1.83 goals against.

Leaf's are a 1 ring circus. Either the core 4 rides to victory or the Leafs fall.
Leaf's are NOT built to win playoffs. They are built to generate goals, fan excitement, to entertain and increase revenue.

  8. 2017-18 Leafs Regular season PP 25% / Playoffs 26.7% Leafs went with 4 lines
2018- present Regular season PP 23.8% / Playoffs 15.8% .Last playoffs the Leafs were 4.8% on the PP, second last of all playoff teams.
5 years in a row the lack of scoring on the power play has done them in. It is the power play in the playoffs. Five years in a row and no solution. Same core 4. Same lack of scoring on the power play.
