Morgan Rielly is a liability every time he's on the ice. Every single time. And, this has been going on for far too long. Out of his 12 years in the NHL he's only had 2 good years…the rest were either very average or very bad (like the year he's having now). At this point they are far better off without him on the team. If the Leafs are truly serious in wanting to win a cup, or have any real success in the playoffs, then they have two options with Rielly: They either send him on a permanent vacation to Robidas Island, or they move him by adding another young player and/or picks with him in a deal. NMC contracts have been moved before so it can be done.

Stick a fork in Rielly. If he wasn’t personal friends with Larry Tanenbaum he would have been traded long ago. He is hurting this team with his own selfishness. He’s slow, has no shot, dawdles on the ice stifling play, and is not physical in his own end. So “who” does he inspire exactly. He’s done. Go back to Rosedale and annoy the neighbours.
