@Predators de Nashville

1. As a Preds fan…this moment is one that I have dreamed about. Originally from Raleigh so I remember the cup final with Carolina back in 06. But I was just a little kid then. This moment…can only be beat by one other moment (sports speaking of course). And that is of course raising the Stanley cup. Geez, I can't believe I can actually say my team might raise it! It is awesome. I was at work and missed the game unfortunately but I saw the score on my phone and literally ran around our parking lot (empty) and screamed my head off. Then my friend texted me and said "if they finish the dream then this is the kinda story that becomes a movie!"

  2. Thanks Shannon for not rubbing it in and I love how your going outside and stuff like that lately.
Congrats Preds Please beat the Pens lol

  3. Ccongratulations to the team and their loyal, and highly vocal fan base! you deserve this, the Stanley cup, is not only the oldest trophy in north American sports, there is only one, and it is easily the most difficult to win. best of luck to you the rest of the way, I suggest season ticket holders, stock up on throat lozenges, and out yell your opponent in the final!

  4. I'm from Knoxville TN which is about 2 hours east of Nashville and I've never watched a single Hockey game up until this series. In Tennessee there aren't very many Hockey fans but after this run the Preds went on I'm sure the fan base is 4X larger than it was 3 months ago. Whatever happens in the Finals win or lose I'm a new fan of the sport of Hockey and I'm sure another 100,000 people are too in Tennessee. The Ducks and Preds series was one of the most intense series I've ever witnessed from any sport.

  5. I was at Game 6 tonight at Bridgestone Arena. Im not a diehard Predators fan however I will say it was so awesome to witness history. I took pics and video and its something I will never forget. Its going to be a great Final no matter who wins in the next few days in the East. This is exactly why I love hockey: Anything can happen 🙂

  6. Assuming the Pens get past the Senators without further injury the finals will have an interesting dynamic. Pens tremendous center depth with a depleted D and Preds with depleted centers and tremendous depth on D. I'd give the advantage to the team with the better centers because they can help mask deficiencies on the back end. Subban can't take draws.

  7. Looks like Nashville definetely won the trade of "The lockeroom cancer"
    This is super exciting

  8. Lol the ending. Preds are my 3.5 team. Really excited they made it! Huge fan of Lavi as well as he coached my Canes and won the Stanley Cup. Great series. Feel bad for the ducks because they played so well. Now we need to beat those pens!!! #ABP

  9. LMAO Jimmy Veasey didn't want to sign with preds because he wanted to be with team who can win the cup!

  10. IF the Predators finally win the Stanley Cup will they lift that stupid ban of rival team fans coming to their stadium? They say they do it to let more home team fans get seats but I know they're really doing to try to stack the deck in their favor believing the more fans they have the better chances they have to win. That might be true but a lot of hockey fans don't like what they're doing. I've read that this so-called ban has been ruining road trips for a lot of hockey fans. It's a form of discrimination. None of their rival teams ban Predator fans from coming to their stadiums, not even Blackhawks, who they really seem to have it in for. Further more, if there are ANY Predator fans that are opposing Donald Trump's immigration ban then they shouldn't be supporting something much smaller like a rival team ban.

  11. I was at the first Predators home game. Have the commemorative ticket, pucks, the media guides throughout the years, last year's All Star Game jacket, jerseys, hockey cards, etc….been a fan since before the Predators (when mayor tried to get the Devils, remember that?)—we've always had the right kind of fans for this sport. Thankful for the pieces coming together this year! So fun to be watching hockey into June with my Preds!

  12. You made a really good point about Nashville's success is justice. Makes this all the more sweeter. This is all so well deserved.

  13. I'm 30. Played ice hockey on multiple levels for about 15 years in Nashville(born and raised) well since before the preds existed.
And I do have to say…I cannot remember the last time I've felt this elated.
    Very well-versed video.
One thing I disagree with is your view on the series being equally dirty. Refs were certainly lenient, but imo Anaheim were a bunch of hackin' & slashin' brutes.
    Bring on the penguins.

  14. Im among the minority of people voting for the penguins. I live in the city and would be happy to see back to back cups. However, I would not be angry if the preds win the cup because they deserve it. That's kind of the beauty of this series. On one side you have a team that will be the first to win back to back cups in over twenty years, and on the other side you have a team that will win their first cup and the penguins won it last year so they can't beat themselves up. Congrats to the preds!

  15. As a Preds fan, this is still surreal. This is something that our fans have only dreamed about. I checked my phone this morning to make sure I wasn't dreaming. This is so huge for our city. I hope to see Ottawa in the final even though I don't think it will happen. I think it would be a fun series. LETS GO PREDS! we can do this! (also while I am not a fan of country music either, it is still a part of our city and it always will be.)

  16. As much as I love the team getting love, it bugs me when people say "win it for PK he deserves it" or anything to that affect. BECAUSE its a TEAM! they dont win for PK so why should you only want it for PK? when they win, they ALL get it, not just PK.

  17. Do you think There is a chance ovi is getting traded this summer ??????! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  18. I've tried to tune into most pro sports playoffs, but mark my words that there is nothing more intense than the NHL final. It's insane lol

  19. congrats Nashville! here's hoping for an ottawa Nashville final! from a very nervous but excited sens fan! go sens go!

  20. GO PREDS!!! I'm hoping the Pens are out of gas at this point with series tied 2-2. I've been a southern hockey fan since the mid 90's growing up with minor league teams like the Huntsville Channel Cats (now the Huntsville Havoc). The local team won the CHL in 1998 same year the predators came to Nashville (about 2 hours north) so for 19 long years, i've rooted for the preds and I'm thrilled the whole world can watch as the South breaks the stereotype about "traditional hockey markets" Preds and our fans are putting on a show that I think makes hockey and the NHL look great.
