  1. Leafs honestly might not even make the playoffs..I’m not trying to be over dramatic but has anyone else been paying attention to the standings lately?! You can go from 1st in the division to 5th in about 2-3 games

  2. first goal is offside.
    second goal is goaltender interference
this game won't count just like COVID. it was supposed to be 1-0, not 1-3.
    PLAN THE PARADE
    THIS IS OUR YEAR
    THE CUP IS OIURS BABY………..

    in 1967

  3. Not a Wild fan, but it would be nice to see them win the Stanley Cup this season—especially for MAF since it’s his last year before retirement.

  4. I wish the crowd would just do their damn job and pay too much for tickets and cheer louder for overpaid players to put in some kind of effort.

  5. The Covid bubble had louder games than this. And the Leafs performance fits like a glove.

  6. SN has been pointing out the lack of scoring ability of LEAFS DF, which is unusual, but I wonder why he is saying it now.

On the current roster, the only DF that can be expected to have offensive power is OEM's shot. Even if it doesn't score, the goalie can't hold it, and the rebound can be expected, so the attack can be maintained.
I don't have high expectations for #44 SOG, who has a lot of points relying on FW talent.

Since the draft, the strategy has been to pick many passing DFs, so this team will never be expected to win a Norris Trophy.

  7. The only four Norris winners since 2000 who have not played in the finals are Erik Karlsson (career high R3x2times), Mark Giordano (career high R2), Adam Fox (career high R3x 2times), and Quinn Hughes (career high R2x 2times).

Is there a D-MAN on the current LEAFS who can match them?

    At best, OEM is close.

  8. Leafs havent been this bad in many years. The berube system is a crap and their offense is now a joke. 3 goals in 3 games they can just trade the whole core 4 and the results would be pretty much the same. Matthews 6 shots McMann and Pacioretty both 5 shots and none of the even a single goal. What a terrible bunch of players.
