Everyone knows how to stop Marner, its easy, cover Mathiews, he only passes to Mathiews, if they are on a good rush coming down neutral zone full speed, Mitch would stop, spin around, get surrounded by 3 players, his team is across the offense line, and he passes it to nothing.

I got flak from Leafs fans when I pointed out the Leafs scoring has dipped well below last year's numbers, which I said is pretty concerning that they averaged less than 2 goals/game in the playoff series with Boston last year. People said that the Berube Leafs were scoring "playoff style goals" that would definitely translate to playoff offence unlike years past. Well here we are, like 2 weeks later and Steve is yelling into a camera about them not going to the net being the reason why they're not scoring. They are going to be goalied out of the first round if they have to play the likes of a (healthy) Vasilevskiy, Shesterkin or Bobrovsky.
