I would go for Lanks on Friday. It was actually a good idea to get Demmer in the net tonight so Lankinen could rest. I love Demko, but right now he's still yet to get back to how he was playing last season. And it's to be expected, he's been away for a really long time. It's a no brainer for me because of that since Lankinen has been solid for a while now. We need him in net on Friday.

I'm actually surprised we're so close in points to LA! I never noticed they had a small losing streak until I saw the standings after this Canucks win. I know they have 2 games in hand, and that we never know what's going to happen with this inconsistent team, but that's at least an encouragement.
I agree that we with Lankinen against Dalstars and also… I was thinking the exact same thing about Juulsen when that puck went in lol. Hopefully we see DPetey back.
What's amazing is that the team has been dealing with JT and Petey rift, injuries, Demko not being himself compared to lastyear pre injury, crap d pairings after Hughes and we are still knocking on the playoffs doorstep. Immagine if this team is clicking and no drama and injuries, top 3 in the league.
They gave the first star to Saros who had a .905 SV%, over Demko who had a .969 SV%! WTF IS THIS BS?

As has often been the case this season, Canucks make it way harder than it needed to be to win a game against a bad team. Thankfully they came up on the winning end cause at this point all that matters is the 2 points. Pettersson was excellent but quiet, hopefully he can string together some solid offensive games where he truly takes over shifts. Hughes fantastic as usual, Myers had another great game too. Juulsen should never be in this lineup again, I thought Hronek had a pretty poor showing as well. Need to keep pressing here, Dallas will be a tough effort but a maaaassssssive win if we're able to get 2 or even 1 point. Lets keep rolling!

Juulsen was bad on that goal, but it started with Soucy at the Preds blue line. I think they should have paired Juulsen with Forbort and Soucy with Hronek, more balance on the pairings, worth a try……

We need someone else other than Juulseen, but I assume D Petey isn’t in the lineup because they still want to develop him in the AHL
D-Petey isn't that great of a defenseman & needs a lot more NHL experience! EP40 is definitely a more well-rounded player now but needs more offensive play making. JT Miller was horrible in this game with the Preds. He lost the puck twice, once especially making a stupid play at the blue line, knowing that he was the last man back. The Canucks looked tired & flat. Thank God the Preds sucked more than we did because a better team would've spanked us in that game!

For this game i feel like we only played the first 5 minutes of the game well, and 2-3 minutes in the third. nashville had every right to win that game but Demko stood on his head to give us that win.
The Canucks need to work on extending their typically 1 period of complete dominance (this game only 5mins) to 2 periods and we’ll be back. We have the talent we just don’t keep the hustle up long enough to show it.

Team playing well. The 2 missed high stick calls really ticked me off 😅. They called a double minor after a non call in another game. Reviewed it. Guy was bleeding. They called it.
