Tough to make excuses for Z. Surprised that Drury hasn’t done more since Trouba and Kappo. They are not even close to the top teams in East.
I can't think of a more ridiculous excuse laden defense of -25 Mika than what I just heard here.

Me: Huh? Is it not Mika who is 1-11 for breakaways, and got absolutely worked behind the net vs Martinook that lead to a goal the other night? There must be another Mika on the Rangers. Egregious mistakes should be called EVERY DAMN TIME because they are egregious, whether they're made by a player in a funk or not. Mika is tied for the WORST plusminus in the league right now. WORST. -25!

Its funny how fans and teams have changed from the past. The new standard is you must have a legitimate chance to win a cup or you need trade guys before the deadline. When I became a fan in the mid 70's and really through 90's, the goal was to make the playoffs and anything could happen, a legitimate chance, whatever that means, was not the standard. I get it, and feel the same way as most fans, but its just interesting how the mindset of fans and teams have changed.

Miller big soft anda defensive liability. Trade him.
Kreider, Zibanajed and Panarin are 3 bums overpaid, they make no impact on the games and are as soft as toilet tissue! The only thing keeping me watching them is the Rempe line, get some real top players on the PP. This team has to sell at the deadline they aint going nowhere with the garbage core they have.
Lindgren is a target for every real team. They hammer him. His heart is way stronger than his body is at this point. Sad. If his heart was in K A Millers physical gifts, wow, that would be Norris trophy. Lindgren prob has to go.
Can Fox live without him? He is playing better but my impression is he has not and likely will not get back to Norris status after the Aho knee check incident. Tragic. He will always be very good, will he be Leech caliber great. I hope, but I doubt.
Bet they give Miller a one year prove it offer. He has clearly regressed. Better with Borgen, but last two games, wow. So NYR need to see if he can be stable and great for one full season. Maybe we are watching different games or because I am a fan and you are a journalist and can not say the truth! K. Miller is not a smart player at all. He does not even know the basics regarding defending.
What would the Rangers give to pick up Brock Boeser and JT Miller?
Hockey is a mental game. Read & react. Make focused split second decisions. K Miller can't do that. He lacks hockey sense.
Miller will never be a Physical Player it’s not in him. Bill Parcells once said you can’t teach a dog to bite. I’d rather keep Lindgren than Miller. Lindgren plays with heart and reason he’s beat up is because he gave his body for this team. Milker is completely the opposite Soft Rangers need to stop wasting time with the Miller experiment.
