Chicago was on the wrong side of two monumental trades ……trading Esposito, Stanfield & Hodge to Boston
    And Hasek to Buffalo

You heard of a management with vision….well, Chicago had double vision, their GM was drunk on power & stupidity

  2. Solid video. Patrick Roy deserves alot of credit but unfairly overshadows the Dominator in terms of revolutionizing the postion

Hasek would roll on his back and do moves we see all the time now from NHL goalies that no one ever thought of trying before him

  3. Your crappy AI voice says Czechoslovkia like a drunken robot trying to convince the cops he can drive.

  4. Hasek wasn't the greatest goaltender. It is either Bernie Parent or Grant Fuhr. Maybe Patrick Roy too. So three way tie. The late 1990's hold, clutch and grab made Hasek and Brodeur look like they are both 7 foot 8 and 400 pounds.

  5. Nice work… Just one thing… Nobody back in Czechoslovakia called him a "Dominator"… That nickname came only after his breaktrrough in the NHL, given to him by the NHL journalists…

  6. Work on name pronunciation. Hasek is pronounced as if there's an h after the s. like Hash -ek. And it's Luc Robitaille is pronounced Rob-a tie, not rob-a-tile. Go back and listen to the announcers for help on this. Just don't listen to Don Cherry because he purposely and disrespectfully mispronounced players names if they weren't simple enough for him and especially if they weren't Canadian. "Good Canadian kid" Otherwise, great show. Well done!

  7. Very very cool video!!! Us Buffalo folk have several instances to be eternally greatful for in Sabres history. Dom is WAY at / if not THE top spot.

  8. You forgot another of his once-in-a-lifetime contribution – 1998 Olympics where Czech Republic finally won against Russia in finals and left Nagano proud with a golden medal.

Jaromír Jágr, Dominik Hašek, Martin Ručinský, Robert Reichel, or Patrik Eliáš were there as well 🇨🇿

I remember watching the Olympics with our teacher during classes at school. That's how much our nation lives ice hockey and will never forget these heroes 🙌

  9. To score on hashek, you just need to elevate the puck 1 foot off the ice, as he's pretending to be a fish out of water.😂

  10. Love the video but is it me or is the goalie comparison half a minute in is showing a bunch of goalies from a whole other era 🤔

  11. You don't know anything about Goaltending, he played long before the goalies you showed . He played reactionary like all goalies of his era .Though he created a few different moves and styled saves he still was considered Hybrid stand up butterfly .
