Pasta is too small for the playoffs
That was actually very touching what that younger guy said about the Bs this year. He sounded like he really cared and is sick of all the online amateur NHL 'GM's this year. He, like me, is pissed off at how bad they are but he still has hope and I respect that. I like watching good hockey and even last night I got that for several shifts… until I didn't. Blowing it up is even more depressing than losing. If you can retool/soft rebuild the way the Caps have done, that is ideal. Pasta is carrying the goal scoring. He was the top point getter in Jan and the star of the week last week. Get him some weapons. He can't keep carrying the team. I believe in bringing up more of the kids and dealing guys like Freddy, Geekie and even Coyle. Losing begets losing. These guys need a spark of talent and a string of wins and a retool could make that possible.
No trades can always be waived , happens frequently. Blow it up ! Hate Pastas game. Sway way over paid, Lindholm and Zadorov are both busts!!
No Pasta trade!! Bring in a true center and some better defenseman. Zadoroff is horrible!

Why would you trade Pasta? So you could hope you would find another guy who could score goals like Pasta? He is on a good contract and he scores goals every year.
I wouldn’t move Pasta and he won’t go anyway. I would trade Swayman if he wanted to go. Hockey is chemistry, if they can’t find a talent to skate alongside Marchand then what’s the point, unfortunately they need to consider trading him for a player and draft pick. The new captain is probably McAvoy. I think they need to find a coach and they need draft picks.

This is laughable. The damn reason this conversation is being re-hashed over and over, is due to the fact that the guy that has made draft picks, and made trades, has put the team in the position it's in; You know, the gm! This is Sweeneys 10th season as gm, and they've gotten beyond the 2nd round 1 time. This all falls on Jacobs, who seemingly, is ok with this mismanaged mess.
No point trading Pasta because they won't get anyone as good.
Trade pasta he doesn't give 100 percent effort, he cries about who he plays with, he doesn't back check, he's a turnover machnine and costs more goals then he puts in . Get rid of him. Imagine if he gave 100 percent effort each night and how many goals he would have

Settle down folks, we just had 2 great seasons. Trade Pasta, haha. Thankful the Bruins are loyal to the players that want to be here. You need the core to build off of.

At this point, Sweeney needs to start being more aggressive on who's getting called up and sent down. I'd also like to see Lohrei as a 4th line forward. His defensive play is absolutely horrible and has been for a while, but he's got the size and skill for a potentially impactful power forward.
The no-trade clauses don't mean anything. It just means the player has to approve the trade, which they will to escape the Bruins sinking ship
Pasta is the only untouchable any and everyone else can go. Pasta is a top 5 player in the league when he actually has a team around him. Why on earth would u ever trade him?

Rather they trade McAvoy then Pasta. McAvoy, Geekie, Fredrick, Coyle, and Korpi should all be moved for picks and a decent center.

Anybody who was born & raised in Boston knows that this is, has and always will be a hockey town. Before Brady & Belechick Boston fans really knew where the Patriots were going to end up. Same as the Sox. The B’s & Celtics were always in the playoffs. These radio announcers who the majority aren’t even from here give their so-called advise, when they weren’t even around here in the 70’s 80’s or 90’s.
