Being a lifelong Jets fan and having experienced the post christmas slump so many times my attitude this season was "I'm enjoying it, we'll see if it lasts". But I have to say that it really is starting to feel like a historic season for this crew, they appear to have a resilience and consistency we have not seen before. Still a lot of hockey to be played, hopefully they can maintain their momentum, stay healthy and make a run in the post season.
I would disagree about "no prospect being off limit". The only prospect that should be off the table is Elias Salomonsson- he's the only good defensive prospect and is shaping up quite well to potentially be top-4 pairing. He comes across as a more offensively inclined Samberg. The rest… go for it.
we NEED to add to our defense a big name player that can move the puck will help prevent the atrocious turnovers we see come playoff time

Loving this year so much. We are witnessing history! I just hope we can do it in the playoffs. Other teams like Oilers Avs Vegas Stars seem to all turn it up a notch. That was us in 2018 but it never happened again. Hope we can come out on top.

As a fan born in peg city, to living in Ontario. Watching the high flying, Goal scoring, shut you down defence, to the brick wall that is the man that once went beast mode, has found a level beyond that…

…in my opinion, of course, the Jets are a real team with an awesome goalie, and not too bad of backup…..the Stars are getting a bit old, look slow, to me, but of course are still skilled. …se if it lasts… the Avs? well something is off there, goalie???, team dynamics? coaching? …yes yes, two great players-but, but, they can be shut down(well at least one of them)
…but as i said the Jets are a 'real team' that plays as a team, always… having coached for many years, I can tell you that is the real key to winning…
Can you imagine if the management actually got some quality Dmen at the trade deadline? Roman Josi? Savard from Montreal. Larson from Seattle. Actually PLAY SCF MILLER! What a concept!
