Ugly or not. We'll take it. I thought we persevered in this game. Daws was solid with the pressure of this game. But all I can say is why can't we play Pittsburgh every night. We have done great against this team and I did call this win after the loss to Sabres. Now the question is can we follow up against a frigid vegas team who goining be angry Thursday night. Ace, in few live shows, you have mentioned about NHL/Devils not being on top of the merchandise/jersey launches for stadium series and four nations, so I’ve worked for MSG for Rangers/Knicks as the Merchandise buyer for several years in the past, and there is a lot that goes into launching a jersey and many many many things can go wrong so quickly. I had the privilege and agita of launching jerseys for both teams (85th anniversary jersey for Rangers, Winter Classic, Rangers Reebok jersey, Knicks adidas jersey, Liberty adidas, etc) and it is not a simple process so I can see how the NHL can mess up so badly. And it’s even more challenging for something like Stadium jersey or Four Nations where time is much more limited to design/assort/produce/ship. I’m not trying to make excuses for the incompetence but some of it is out of their control when overseas factories has delays or freight issues etc. As you have mentioned several times that doing merchandise (your tees and hats) is a “pain in the ass”, that is Exactly correct and perfectly put lol so just my 2 cents on the whole launching of jerseys. And yes, it was SOOO painful working for my nemesis NY Rangers but the was best feeling was walking into MSG office after Devils beat the Rangers in eastern conference finals 2012😂 LGD!!
