With the US going down the MAGA drain moving to Calgary is a nice idea, except your real estate prices are nuts. Congrats on getting Frosty and Beezer.
I love the flames. Conroy's first full year as GM and they're ahead of schedule. I honestly thought we'd be swimming with the bottom feeders. But with the talent the flames have, I am not surprised we're fighting for playoff spot. However, I fear that with the Canucks getting it together, with the SCORING talent they have, AND without their distractions now, are going to jump over the flames and pull ahead. Hopefully I am wrong. So in the near future, I see us on the outside looking in. Another mid-tier season. What the flames are basically known for the last 25 years plus. A top, mid-tier team. I've been saying this since the beginning of the season and it became clear that the Flames were not going to pick in the top 5 @ the draft: establishing a winning culture is WAY more important than a top 5 pick. Team Tank has never been appealing to me. It is poison to let that losing culture settle into the locker room. It spreads across the league – nobody wants to get traded to that team.
The only thing guys, is that this level of uphoria is only going to last a year or two. Unless our prospects & or some adds, get us over the top. Don't ya think.
