Avs GM in Columbus tonight for the second straight Blue Jackets game. Word is the Avs are looking at Ivan Provorov in a potential trade.
Shutting down MacJesus helps when you have Makar and Toews out there for 70%+ of his shifts. But I digress everyone says Makar is just an offensive defensemen there is no way he can shut down Mcdavid, right?
Both teams looked pretty bad last night to be honest. Ugly goals on both sides. Obviously illl take the W but boy, no one played defense last night lol. Avs def should t have won considering the back to back and starting Blackwood two straight games. Once again, will always take the W but so many things need to be cleaned up.
When you guys brought up the eye test between Mack and Mcdavid thats the first argument i always make when comparing Makar and Hughes. When i watch Makar i dont see anyone like him and Hughes is not close in my eyes. Everyone wants to always put Mcdavid over Mack but hes closed the gap and its honestly a 1A 1B situation between those to now.
Anyone get a little nervous with the recent cap space that Dallas has gained we’re going to see Mikko in a Dallas sweater by the end of the season?

Makars speed has always seemed to throw McDavid off, the Avs speed in general seems to nerf 50 percent of his advantages he has against everyone else
I love that these two teams just wanna play hockey against each other. Skill on skill let’s go. Not the attitude of let’s negate! Breakneck speed. McDavid has had the flu for like a week. Not himself at all. It was obvious. Whilst you guys were bigging up Nate. Sorry Makar was the best player out there! What I want to see is 3 on 3 At 4NC Mack McDavid & Makar. Look out US.

Two goals from Perry gave me nausea. Those goals made the game closer than it should've been.
Makar is better at his position than either Mackinnon or Mcdavis at theirs
Something is wrong mit McDavid this whole season. Especially after his suspension he has like 1 even strength point in this 6 game and minus a lot. He has way less game deciding moments this season. Idk if he just want to conserve his energy for the playoffs but it worries me as an oilers fan. I don’t think many would disagree that MacKinnon is better at the moment. It is more expressive for the oilers that there are this high in the standings with the worst McDavid for years.
Agreed about watching the NHL superstars, Chris: Nate, Cale, Joe. Hadn't heard of that other guy tho :^)
