The devils weren’t ready to play this game
Absolute garbage performance. But it's helta skelta hockey. As I said we would beat pit we did but then a no show vs vegas garbage. And now we get a team we play great against in Montreal I think we win this last one. But this break will determine what we do rest of year gut check time for boys..
Absolutely no energy no cycling forecheck nothing. This needs to be the final wakeup call. Or we just crater. But we need this break badly.. so frustrating how this team just can't play up to its potential
Fitz needs to make a move or again it's shows lack of desire to be best you can be. We better not be sellers but it's a possibility. But again mark my words I think we beat Montreal amd then key is what do we look like after break in 1st test vs Dallas

I would say this was the worst performance of the season just an embarrassment and the thing is it was clockwork after the pit win. Now they'll get our hopes up with a win in Montreal. The break and Fitz shakeup are and will be the key

It's beyond laughable people are trashing Nemec for 1 bad game when Luke has had 40+ bad games in the last 2 years. Before you trade Dougie you better make sure Luke or Casey is ready to replace his production. Otherwise, the offense will be even worse.
Way too many of these no shows or low energy outings. The philly game the 1st 2 and the ottawa game in nj now this . Its just too many… ridiculous how this team keeps playing like this

Allen kept us in it for so long and the fowards gave absolutely nothing. Also I'm getting really tired of being 3 down then suddenly scoring 2 at the end, I feel like that's happened alot recently
Montreal is massive beat a team we always beat get healthy and fitz bring in some pieces to turn this around and give us th3 kick in butt we need to get this turned around. Cant punt on back to back seasons

I gave Jack credit last game and always do when he plays well, but as I've also stated numerous times, this team isn't winning with the core. Bratt, Luke, Jack, Dougie, Mercer are all soft players who have a losers mentality. Travis green said it best last year… there are good players and players that you win with.

I’ve officially hit the panic button. This team is the exact opposite before Christmas. I’m not giving up hope for a playoff spot, but if they don’t get their shit together this would be one of the worst chokes in NHL history. The four nations break can’t come any sooner.

I think what bothers me the most is I’ve seen this terrible team for almost 2 months. I only watch on TV every second of every day. I’ve said this team is a bottom 5 team since break. How do Fitz and Keefe not see this.. where in the world is this man?
Also, bringing Nemec up?! Weak sauce. Piss poor management. I’m getting fed up with Fitz. I’ve only seen him make a few solid moves. He’s made some horrible decisions and I’m about it ready to say goodbye to him.

Keefe couldnt bring the soft leafs deep into the playoffs. He certainly cant bring this far softer and shallower team anywhere
My guess is they will either squeak in at number 3 in the Metro, or be bumped entirely if they are caught by Col or the Rangers.
