    Lyon allowed one soft goal, maybe Talbot allowed one too. It was not the reason they lost.

    GOAL TENDING WAS BRTAL. Can’t give soft ones like that against good teams. Deflates the bench watching that performance!

    Two break away goals is not on the goaltending. Poor defensive coverage, allowed Tampa to free wheel in the neutral zone. The Wings only played one good period and that was in the second.

    What really great teams do: take the puck into the offensive zone to maximize puck possession. What our team does: LAUNCH THE PUCK IN THE OFFENSIVE SO NO ONE HAS TO HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF POSSESSION

    Quick question.. I have been a listener for years with the two of you, I think that I joined just as Brian joined the show. I have been wondering, why do we start every episode with Brian and Scotty's other jobs? It feels like you are trying to justify you being the hosts of the show, which, if my opinion means anything, you don't really need to do as your volume of work at hosting the show speaks for itself. Do other LO team shows do this too, I haven't really listened to others and do not here it on the collab episodes or the LO NHL shows. Just something that I have been thinking about lately. keep up the great work, as always and you are most often my first listen everyday.

    Should have started Talbot. He shutout the Lightning not too long ago and likely had a ton of confidence against them. I know Talbot had struggles the last few games, but Lyon doesn’t handle important games well. See last years losing streak for reference.

    “Burnout” is absolutely overused in sports. These are professional athletes, not office workers…. Burnout is not an excuse in professional sports.

    I must've been watching a different game. Lyon let 3 in on 4 and was rightfully chased. But defense was patchy, too many dumpout attempts that turned into chances, breakdown in passing led to 2 breakaways that scored. Way too many shots sailed high, wide and were seen three days ago by Vasilevskiy. He's way too good a goaltender for non-screened shots. It's a loss, but an even loss since Bos, Ott, CBJ also lost. Wings played okay, but Tarasanko is just not connecting. His goal was by accident, not a shot, and he just keeps losing blond passes and control of the puck in key situations. He's not the same Vlady he was a year ago.
