  1. if vladdy is the only guy we are trading, it is a non-loss. He has not clicked here and I wish him the best on his next team. I want to see 16-19 Tarasenko again before he leaves the league. Ill settle for only a couple games worth of that, but id love to see him look great on that ice again. Stinks it was not here with the wings.

  2. We're actually thinking he might be at the end and that his contract may not be tradeable.

Just because we are thinking it doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Just means that's the predominant viewpoint at the moment.

  3. Man he’s gotta go, brings nothing to this team besides turnovers and soft touches that lead too turnovers, he’s honestly brutal too watch and id much rather have Dom Shine on the lineup

  4. I'm sure his talent is there, it's his work rate that is abysmal, I was at the Edmonton and Vancouver games and in person you can see his effort is not matching the rest of the team, especially the newer guys like Kasper/burgers/soda

  5. If we trade him we should do it in a 3 part trade:

Taransenko for 2th draft pick and we take 50% salary

Then trade Byram with Buffalo for Wallinder and Gustavsson

    Florida gets:
    Taransenko

    Buffalo gets
    2th draft pick (floridas pick)
    Wallinder (was drafted #32 2020)
    Gustavsson

    Detroit gets
    Byram
    And 50% of Tarasenko salary

  6. He’s not clicking but the other options at forward are abysmal. Shine, Motte, and Fischer aren’t NHL quality players and definitely can’t play PP2.

  7. Scary thing is even though he hasn’t fit in with any line he is still tied for 6th in points on the team….

  8. Could result in anything. The thing with FLA though is that they practically have 0 cap space to play with. So we would have to retain, cause all players with a similar contract are players that are worth way more.

I'm not against keeping Vlad, either. He is one player you can put into Line 2 and he should, in theory, be able to contribute, as well as PP. IF there is anyone that'd give a good return, though, I would let him go. Top 6 is good as it is and Bottom 6 can be filled by Elder, Shine, Motte and sorts. If you still wanna make a big run for the playoffs and are in a spot to get a replacement, you sure could, there is more than enough talent you could switch.

  9. How about Tampa Bay. Know they were interested in acquiring Brandon Saad just last week. Isn’t Tarasenko the same type of player. Food for thought.

  10. One question is why would Florida want him? They would have to demote one of their sub 1M forwards for a 2M+ who hasn't played well this year. Yeah doesn't really compute does it? Kane would be much more likely target for Florida, but again no cap space.
