Before the game I gave a 0% chance of a ducks win. What a fun game. Having Zegras in the lineup beyond just what he brings pushes everyone down a spot in the lineup making the whole team better. In 2 years Cutter is going to be a beast.
I will say the fact that we have such a positive record against top teams (6-2) is scary for playoff hunters. We can be that spoil team and we’re only a few good acquisitions and trades from being a great contender and overall a scary team. Lots to tighten up but that comes with time. Also it’s Hint-z like hints for the Dallas Stars player (my wife would kill me if I didn’t correct the name of a fav player of hers)

Keep up the good work! 👍 Also I noticed when Zegras is in the lineup the team is much happier. Almost like he lifts the guys up and he always celebrates and cheers their goals like they were his own. He's definitely a great teammate for the guys to have and the fact that there's so much trade talk about him is pretty annoying. I hope we end up signing him long term.

I was impressed with the Ducks defense during this game. Double teaming to create turnovers. They were so determined to hold down the fort when the Stars pulled their goalie. They outplayed Dallas and deserved to win.

. All this talk about playoff seeding is too soon lol but it’s so damn awesome being close to .500 this late in the year. Definitely a huge improvement altogether this year compared to the last few. I’ve got to give credit to the vets who haven’t been incredible but aren’t awful. Steady mediocrity is better than what we’ve had for such a long time.

Amazing that Z was able to elevate that Puck so much reaching out practically one handing it. And the announcing was so much better with the ESPN broadcast than our crew. Imagine that, talking about the 4 nations and talking about leo. And doing color but stopping to actually CA the play on the ice. I think I learned more about the ducks this game than the entire season of our ducks announcers.

Gibson was rock solid and the defense was there all 3 periods. Great to see them protect Gibby. Overall the Ducks played and passed well. Still passing up on shots. So many missed opportunity shots. Dallas didn’t seem like they were on their game. Good for us. Zegras goal was incredible…he never gives up on an opportunity! Go Ducks!
