Holtby played very well. Disappointed to see Ovi’s lack of defense in overtime, there was a good chance he could have broken up that cross crease play but he just glided and let it happen.
I can’t understand how in this day and age, any team would let Ovechkin just stand there like that, especially during the power play. EVERYONE knows what he’s going to do from that spot. And yet, they just let him stand there. Somebody cover him!
It's honestly scary at times how good McDavid/Draisaitl are together. If they can get more depth out from their other lines….they will become more consistent. .It was a great game to watch with an aggressive Ovi/McDavid going at it. BTW if Holtby had saved that last one, it would have been an incredible stop for the highlight reel, instead add it to Mc/Dri's.
