Carolina dominated. Just look at the shot totals, they've really come on harder as the series has gone on. No idea why Ovi was so mad. He ran Petr into the net, causing the puck to go in. It's so clear. Don't sleep on this team. I wouldn't be surprised to see this Carolina team go all the way to the Finals. Say they win Game 7, I think they can outgrind and outskate NYI in a way that Pitt couldn't, and against (let's just make an assumption) Boston in the CF, I don't think the Bruins' D will be able to keep up with them.

Caps fan here. Carolina looks good. They played this whole series with a lot of grit and determination. Their defense has been very good. It deserves to come down to a game 7.
I'm a Lightning fan… Yes I'm admitting that this playoff year lol. I have been rooting for Carolina (and Arizona) all year as great underdogs. I think the Canes are a fun team to watch. It's gonna be real tough to win game 7 in Washington but this is the year of upsets. And that was the correct call by the letter of the law. The nbcsn feed didn't pick up the initial call and there was no explanation from Rehman after the challenge so I was confused too. It was, however, as hard as it is to swallow, correct. Ovi pushed the pads. Some people are seeing with their hearts and not their eyes
As an islanders fan hoping that game 7 goes into a couple overtime’s and regardless of who we play it will be tougher then the Pittsburgh series for sure hopefully the long rest will be an advantage games 2 through whatever knowing that game 1 it will take a period plus to get there legs going
Why is no one talking about the slash that led to Carolina's second goal?! That really frosts me. The Canes outplayed the Caps and deserved the win, but it really ruins the game when the refs can't call a blatant injustice like that.
