What do you think if Jake Evans would be a jet since my fav team can't negotiate a contract with him. Jets are my 2nd fav team and I'd say he'd be a great addition better then Gus bus

I do think if a McCann deal were to happen, it would have to involve a roster player. I don't see the Kraken giving him up, with term, for picks that won't play for another 2-3 years. They'll want someone back that contribute now. Not to mention, the Jets, have a backlog of d-men as it is, so if Oleksiak is included, one of the Jets current d-men has to be going the other way.
See if Winnipeg would consider that !!
McCann and Oleksiak for Perfetti , a 2nd , Logan Stanley and Heinola. Add in Chaz Lucious and they might bite.

I like the trade, but i would wanna hold onto lambert. Gonna need him next yr to slide into ehlers spot if he walks in FA. I can see Chibrikov replacing Appleton next yr as well. I would use Barlow as a trade chip

Out of all the rumoured players to go, McCann is probably the least likely. I doubt he’d want to go to Winnipeg anyway, he loves Seattle.
For the Jets to make a serious run for the Cup they need to add a 2nd line center who's a proven playoff performer. With only 6 points in 20 playoff games, McCann ain't the guy.
But the guy sucks 😅. I think any first round picks could be funneled thru Utah somehow three way style. Utah has thousands of picks and could overlook a couple. So Heinola and Perfetti to Utah for that first and our first which flips to Seattle for McCann.
Then Stanley and Ford?….for Oleksiak. I’m no GM but these two cats could be puzzle pieces for a repeat scenario.
