I'm getting tired of seeing Mike Sullivan chewing gum on the bench.
As an adult woth a family i following wrestling years ago, but today WWE is like watching a broadway play while AEW i can actually watch as adult
As much as I appreciate Geno, I'm 100% okay with him heading home to Magnitogorsk this April.
Hunter I agree with you, this is probably the best US International Team I've ever seen. I said the other day, the 2010 Olympic Team in Vancouver was pretty good, but this team takes it to another level. I've never been more excited for USA Hockey than recently, Back to back gold medals at the World Juniors, a chance to make a statement with the four nations and the Olympics coming up next year. We forget, there is a lot of young talent waiting in the wings or guys who didn't make it, that could make it next year: Jason Robertson, Tage Thompson, Cole Caufield, Alex Tuch, Clayton Keller.
About the powerplay Adam Fox is a really good offensive defenseman and skates well, but no one can run that point probably how Quinn Hughes would. I can't wait to see him in the Olympics next year. You have a lot of young talent upcoming such as Lane Hutson, Ryan Leonard, Gabe Perreault, Jimmy Snuggerud, Logan Cooley, Rutger McGroarty I think could be in that convo potentially, James Hagens, Luke Hughes, Team USA is loaded both now and into the future.
Also, when you mentioned the 03-04 Penguins, that takes me back to 8th grade. I vividly remember that team I was 14 and oh that team lol, Dick Tarnestrom was the leading point scorer on that team. What I remember about that Team those guys went out and even though they knew they had no chance on most nights, they played their asses off and gave it their all. In fact, I remember they actually finished strong that season. They had an awful 18 game winless streak and after they broke it, they ended going like 12-5-3 the rest of the way.
disagree 100%, pens downfall began the moment they took steigy off tv.
He should retire after this year. What are he and Letang doing out there anymore?
i hope bennett is in over konecny tomorrow bro was a ghost vs sweden plus bennett is more of a rat him playing with marchy would be fun to watch i think people giving usa too much credit it them 2 full periods to start getting good results against easily the worst team in the tournament and if canada gets as many power plays as the states did canada could win just off that all we need is 16 seconds 😈
Brodeur was the Emmett Smith of the NHL. Hasek is Barry Sanders.
Jagr Mario Gretzky
Orr Lidstrom
Hasek
Dave Mustaine had said that Megadeth's "Crush 'em" was written to be an arena song for sporting events. You could start at the pre-chorus "Heads I win, Tails you lose, Outta my way, I'm coming through…Roll the dice, don't think twice as we Crush, Crush, Crush 'em!" Get the crowd chanting the "Crush, crush, Crush 'em!"
Malkin needs to be done this year.. love him but it time
If I'm making a team of greats, one has to be a Pens line with Mario, Jagr and Sid. Those three have saved this franchise, at different times. My second line may be a bit of a surprise as I go with some of the best two way players to ever play the game. Ron Francis, Sergei Fedorov, and Pavel Datsyuk. Definitely have to go with Coffey and Lidstrom for the first pairing. For the second pairing, what about Zdeno Chara and Shea Weber clapping bombs from the points.
Of course, the only option for goalie is the Dominator.
I only picked players that I have watched play games which started in the late 80s.
Balls to the Wall…i love it when you get animated, but you're right..i haven't watched those couple games, but i know the results…this is very much fun, exciting and serious for these players in the 4 Nations
Thank you guys so much for answering my question! 🖤💛
Gordie howe should be in the all time top 6. Jurri kurri could be put their as well. Im kinda like you pat with wrestling. Watched it as a kid thru the attitude era then got out of it until my son got into it. He watches it all the time soo we watch it together and go to wrestlemania every year. Aew was cody rhodes, the young bucks and kenny omega from new Japan pro wrestling wanting to start their own brand. Got millionaire khan family involved to back them. When cody went back to wwe was when aew ratings started plummeting. Wwe is big again because triple h is running it not vince McMahon who was set in his ways of pushing a certain type of wrestler
87, 4 Nations, other stars = AWESOME.
+ SUPER MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Zegras = a PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
McTavish = NOT.
Hey Patrick I didn’t realize you played hockey at IUP. I’m 33 so we must’ve been there around the same time. Did you know Jesse Kunkle by any chance?
