    I love the forwards they have upfront and I like the Bernier signing a lot. To me, Dougie Hamilton will be either boom or bust and Hischier needs to stay healthy for New Jersey to make the playoffs. Also they need to fix their special teams, that was what sank them last year.

    In the upcoming 2021-22 season, the Devils will finish 1st in the Metropolitan Division with a 63-12-7 record and capture their 1st Presidents’ Trophy in franchise history, beat the Islanders in 5 games in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, beat the Capitals in 6 games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, sweep the defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning in 4 games in the Eastern Conference Finals and beat the expansion Kraken in 5 games to capture their 4th Stanley Cup in franchise history.

    I don't like what the devils organization did to Binghamton ahl franchise. I'll never root for jersey. I hope they finish last.

    With the new editions this offseason it now all comes down to players taking the next step forward in their development. In the beginning of last season the Devils were playing well before they got hit with COVID, after it all fell apart. Nico needs to bring back his rookie season form, Jack needs to continue to improve on what he was able to achieve last season, Jesper Bratt needs to finally breakout as well as the emergence of Zacha, Wood, Sharangovich, and Kuokkanen. Special teams on both sides was atrocious. Hoping Lindy can now take the time in practice to work on those aspects of the game that they were not able to do from having to play back to back games to finish out last season. If they can come together and gel then there is a light at the end of the tunnel for this rebuild.
