THAT will be a mistake of a contract because this Ranger team WILL NOT win !! I like Igor, and he is an elite goaltender, but even Shesterkin is affected by the drop in play and talent among his teammates. I would rather watch him hoist the cup with another team than to never experience winning it all a la Henrik. It pains me to say that Igor and his contract will not pay dividends. Get assets and picks. Start fresh. Use Florida as the template of how to build a winner.

Not a fan of Freddy. He's a massive spot-picker and a so-so player at best. Sam Bennett's contract is expiring at the end of the season and he would be a Huge pickup for us. Much more effective player than Freddy & a playoff performer to boot
Never trade KAndre Miller! Move off Kreider this offseason and Mika next unless both can be gone before the start of next season.
