Flames need to decide two things. Have a ten game winning streak or a ten game losing streak. For Calgary to get in they need to go 17-10 or 18-9 with the 27 games left. I feel we will be giving up a 14th overall pick to Montreal.
We are undercooked. Mushy. Right in the middle.
The Flames are mushy middle again. They can win against the bottom half of the league, but struggle with the top half. Is that better to be here so soon into the retool? All it means is no high draft pick again 😢
I doubt they will evenmake it to the playoffs in my opinion they need better upe management
The nice thing about having this killer road trip is that we should be able to tell one way or the other. If we somehow gel together and win a few against these tough teams on the road, that might give us the boost to get back to playing hard and getting team defense out of high effort. If we play the same way we played the last few on that road trip, we should be comfy in the bottom 10 and can stop pretending we're going to the playoffs.

Yup the two weeks after the break are going to be very interesting. I just hope that if they miss the playoffs they at least lose enough to get into the top ten picks.
