Petterson should be sent to Abbotsford to see if he is any better down there. If he doesn’t light it up that should tell us something. He will probably pout.

EP40 needs a long rest. He's probably doing more harm than good.
I hate to say it but Tocchet coached like this when he was coaching Arizona. They had similar results.

Coaching. Shouldn’t have to trade people to find people who can shoot. Coach needs to coach. Quinn needs to captain. Does the mighty Quinn even have an iron fist to rule with, because he needs it just in case.
They traded the wrong center! When is everyone going to figure this out. We traded the blood and guts of our team and kept the soft ice cream. this team would have rallied around JT if Petty had been shipped out. Now what? We trade Petty who's stoke is at his lowest for a bag of pucks. JR and Alvin have completely screwed up the direction of this team. They are once again playing with no direction that is conducive to winning. We have no ability to carry the puck over the blueline or fore check on a dump in. Boeser won't sign here even if Canucks want him as they just traded his center man and left a boy name Petty in charge. Pathetic leadership.
Hard to win any game when you cant score two goals.
The Canucks throughout this season have over-relied on point production from Quinn Hughes. Yes given how much of a stud he’s been, he’d be expected to put up the points like there’s no tomorrow. Who else is doing so for the Canucks? Last weekend I can’t think of too many players on the roster who did with Hughes out due to injury.
Ya Arty was the best player on the ice for the Canucks. Clearly the Canucks need more scoring both with the players they got and the ones they have to trade for in the next two weeks. The Defense and PK is playing well but no offensive finish. When you don't have scoring depth the other team just loads up on the offensive players you got with their good defensive players and then even more goals go away. More depth means more goals, simple as that. My assessment of Cheeto is he is a good player but a poor play maker and scorer. In my depth chart he is a 2-3 C and Petey is so broken down he is only a 2C right now. They need a #1 center and probably a good scoring winger (Toffoli). Because Boeser is a #1 winger and he doesn't skate well he needs to have a #1 center that does skate well for him to be effective. They need to act quickly cuz the new forwards are not going to score the way they need. Better depth scoring is required starting at the top line.

Drew and Keifer are playing to high in the line up. Against other 3rd and 4th liners they dominant. 1st and 2nd liners they can’t match the skill, they just end up skating around chasing the puck and not possessing and making plays. They’re bangers and crashes. Hogs and Lekkerimaki have the skills to play let em go and create
