They have no offense at all.
If the flyers can get him signed to a team friendly extension and he can give better offensive production than what we got out of Frost and Farabee I’m all for him sticking around. Torts has coached quite a few guys in this team to be defensively responsible and penalty disciplined. If he can hit the 50 point mark for a few seasons wearing orange and black I’m happy with the trade.
I dont watch as much hockey as i used to but Farabee and Frost dont really turn my crank . Doesnt Frost have a bad contract as well ????
you are missing completely the main point of the trade for the Flyers. Farabee has a $5 million salarty for the next 3 years and he has been an almost total bust this year. They wanted to free up salary cap, plain and simple. Kuz is a free look since he has no term left on his contract after this year. Frost may become a better player, but he is a free agent at the end of this season and the Flyers probably would have lost him with no return. They would not have been the high bid for him, given he has also been largely a disappointment. Pelletier is a nice young forward as a throw in and they also received a 2nd round draft pick in the upcoming draft.
Bring Kuzmenko back to Vancouver. The Lindholm trade destroyed the Canucks.
Torts understands players and softened his approach to todays players
Michkov needed to start enjoying hockey and Kuzy will do that. He was a great team guy on the Canucks. I seriously didn't like the trade for Lidstrom.
Trading away Kuz from Vancouver was always a mistake. All that for a rental that left in the off season.
Canucks could use Kuz right bout now.
There isn’t much to go by, but the PP looked good with him at the bumper.
The fact of the matter is… Michkov will develop quicker if there are players on the ice with him that he can communicate with. And we NEED Michkov to develop quickly and hit his ceiling. Also… Kuzmenko looks to have some legit skill.
