Its a HARD NO on Brock Nelson and a no on everyone else on here except maybe O'Rielley and thats only if we can get him for next to nothing for his faceoff prowess!!!

All this speculative chatter drives me nuts.
Would not touch that Brock Nelson trade with a 50 foot pole. So uninterested in spending valuable assets on aging rentals that will almost certainly not re-sign. Did it with Toffoli, did it with Monahan, and it got us a first round exit with no help for the future. If we’re spending big time assets, I would hope it’s for a guy like McCann that helps us now and down the line, while seemingly fitting our system perfectly.
Hard to believe any high profile trade candidate would waive a no trade clause to come to winnipeg. Or even resigning. Id keep Kupari and his hard checking hustle in which we might not see with an older Nelson. I like our hard checking 4th line of Barron Kupari and Iafallo. Happy with our offense. We just need a slight upgrade on defense.
Bring in Calgary defenseman Kevin Ball or Chicago Blackhawks Vlasic, Murphy.

No way I’d give a 1st, 3rd and Kupari for Brock Nelson! Laughable. No way to O’Reilly either will mess up chemistry. Carlo or Dumoulin might be a good upgrade to Jets D. I think our need is more on D than F so wouldn’t want to roll the dice on Gourde either.
