Most people don't realize that a young team who can win, then suddenly hits a decent losing streak, is one of the best things that can happen.
Skill is important, but character, young teams need character.
This is exactly what I'm looking for.
Montréal has always been known for having legendary players with great character.

Dach is a solid 2nd liner. He's been dogged by having his crane rocked too many times and people ragging on him as he's essentially playing hurt, and thus far from his potential. Whenever he plays his game (ie. concussion-free long enough) he brings the plays and the points and people love him. The true question is how long will his career last if he keeps getting bashed? Love this channel. I still can't peg the accent, Nova Scotia? Newfoundland?

I predicted some time back that the Habs were tired as f* and needed the half-season break to recharge. Glad to see I was right on the money. These guys are still incredibly young and not used to such a grueling grind.
In two years, that team is going to be scary.
Relax, it's two games so far. They did okay until a few weeks before 4 Nations then they fell apart, shitting the bed with such gusto that no one wanted anything to do with any of them. Unless and until they can string something together I will remain unconvinced.
