    I’d trade Jack Quinn, Jordan Greenway, Jason Zucker, and Bowen byram. Buffalo needs some changes and I believe that would be significant enough to make them better in the long run.

    Seravalli is off his rocker…if it comes from Dreger or Friedman I'd say there is some smoke. Why would the Sabres trade a 23yo 25-30 goal scorer who is under control. If offer sheeted they have the cap space to match. Lastly, Peterka produces so why trade him?

    Sabres are a dumpster fire. Idk how they are so bad again. They have so much talent, a balance of vets n young guys. Speed. Physical players. Could use a goalie but its not just the goalie the team doesnt sacrifice it all. Idk how u chg it realistically.

    Keeping it simple. Peterka is a keeper! No doubt…as you clearly stated yourself. Pay him the money and get him re-signed. In addition, I generally agree with your assessment. The team is loaded with talent. It merely needs one or two older players who have high on ice talent and lead by example and are proven winners…preferably a 1C imo. Didn't know the right side of the defence was not as strong as it could be. That should be attended to as well. And…hesitant to suggest…but could make a massive difference…perhaps obtaining a known proven GT like NJD by acquiring Markstrom from the Flames. I like UPL. Devon Levi…I'm not qualified to say, but could be moved as one piece to get a stud goalie should one become available with another piece or two. James Reimer has proven over the years that he can play at a high level and help steady the ship with his play. I think he's helped to do that somewhat this season in Buffalo…but probably not the long term solution, but I certainly don't count him out. Really liked him when he played for my Leafs way back. Bringing it back to what you said, a key veteran player or two who has pedigree or another Alex Tuch type player…I thought Elias Petterson of the Canucks was possibly a good target a while back. Last thot…I was thinking recently what if Kevyn Adams offered his unprotected 2025 1st rd pick(currently 4th overall) plus Dylan Cozens to Tampa Bay for Brayden Point who has Stanley Cups and has been nothing but money for the Lightning. In truth, from a T Bay pov, as tempting as that is, I don't make that trade. Their top six is potent, almost lethal…and a massive part of any success they will have going forward…but Point might the type of one of the players that could help move Buffalo forward?! Then again maybe the leadership is actually within the group Dahlin really comes to mind there

    As a Sabres fan, better not trade JJ. Our 45 yr rebuild is almost complete. We only need another few #1 picks and to completely rid ourselves of Kevyn adams. He’s the one that needs to go.. blow up the team… we suck..

    It doesn't matter what any team offer sheets Peterka you match instantly. If the Sabres are listening on a Peterka trade you could do Boldy, Caufield, Konecny, Tippett, Kyrou and others but obviously the Sabres would have to add in most of the trades involving Peterka.

    They would be dumb to trade Peterka, Quinn or even Cozens.
    The issue with Buffalo is they are one of the youngest teams in the NHL. You don’t win when the majority of your best and most talented players are between the ages of 18-24. Wait till these players hit their statistical prime which is typically between the ages of 24-26. That’s when their prime typically Starts. This team has a habit of getting rid of players way too soon. Reinhart was 25 and so was Eichel. Both of them went on to explode in points. Granted they went to teams that were older and talented.
