@Flames de Calgary

  1. Iggy is a legend, but I can't say the call was wrong. I can't say it was right either, but that's why replays need to be conclusive to overturn the call on the ice.

  2. Wasn’t a goal. Just sayin’ And if the Flames deserved to win the cup, they had a full OT period in game 6 and a full game in game 7 to do so. It’s such cope from Flames fans, man. It’s your version of the missed high stick for Leafs fans.

  3. Jarome Iginla is easily my all time favorite player. He could do it all, he could beat you on the scoresheet, or beat you up. Shame he never won a cup.

  4. It didn't cross the line, it is an illusion. The same thing happened when the flames faced the ducks in the playoffs where it appeared to have crossed the line from a similar angle, however, the overhead showed it did not cross.

  5. 1993 Bettman becomes comissioner…by 1997 25% of Canadian teams had been relocated.

1993 first southern team in finals LA
(Got there on a missed gretzky high stick on Gilmour).

1999 first southern team to win cup Dallas (won it on a missed foot in the crease call on Hull)

2004 second southern team to win a cup Tampa (won it after Gelinas goal not counted in game 6)

Then the lockout in 2005…and a salary cap that only allows tax free markets to win cups…only 6 tax free markets in the NHL.

Last 10 years 2014-2014 the finals have been 50% tax free markets (Tampa, Florida, Nashville, Vegas, Dallas…).

Must be coincidence after coincidence after coincidence.

  6. im from montreal and when i was younger i only followed 2 teams other than the habs, 1- buffalo cause they were great and had lots of good quebecer players and 2- Calgary cause Iginla was so freaking good ahaha

  7. No way he willingly played in Colorado and LA in his last 4 years. Had no idea it was 4 straight seasons out of the playoffs to end his career- while cup chasing

  8. Why did they take a face off inside the blue line, and outside of the circle at 8:00? That was so weird, I’ve never seen that. Old rule or something?

  9. 0:55 – Sweet mother of Hockey, Jarome Iginla was a 10th overall pick in 1995 NHL Draft (!) – When freakin ALL 9 players selected before him was below his potentials…and had above-mediocre levels of NHL careers. Beside Iginla, goaltenders Jean-Sebastien Giguere (13th overall) and Miikka Kiprusoff (116th overall) was 1995's best draft picks.

  10. That's over the line the computer animation doesn't lie it's the same as if a player crosses the line of the end zone that's in

  11. A great defensive forward. So many good teams he was on. All those flames, 2013-14 bruins, and the forgotten 16-17 kings defense

  12. That flames/lightning series was heartbreaking to watch. Woulda been nine years old at the time. NHL was never the same for me after that.
