Maybe I am crazy, but it has been 8-9 years with the same core that has produced nothing in the playoffs. They've never made it past the 1st round except once and got embarrassed when they did. At what point do we stop "running it back" and try something new/different?? They've tried being a Top Heavy team for years and it has failed because those guys never showed up when it mattered. Let them both walk and test FA.

Leafs are letting Marner walk for roughly 13 mil cap space. They will sign a bunch of 1 year contracts next year and then sign Mc Jesus free agency of 2026 after those contracts expire. I have a funny feeling they have arranged this behind closed doors.
