Its really hard to even be disappointed, I mean I would if the Leafs were expected to make a deep run but that's a couple years off at this point. For this young team to go 6 games, 5 of them OT and all of them decided by just 1 goal against the top team in the league is amazing. Bright future for this team, great season. GLG.

From a caps fan, what an amazing series. Very talented young group in Toronto, gave us a run for our money. Had me a little nervous at times, but I'm glad we stuck with it. Auston Matthews is some kind of talent, comparable to McDavid in my opinion. Can't wait to see what's in store for my caps for the rest of the playoff season, and also the future of a young leafs team!

The boys did amazingly. I'm not disappointed. I expected a 3-4 year rebuild to get to this point. We have a young club. A few more tweaks in the off season and we'll be back next year. We gave the Caps hell.

At the end of the day the leafs didn't even win one playoff game in regulation. Why all the fuss over Matthews when jack eichel is better. Eichel coming off a sprained ankle had 57 points in 61 games. 0.93 ppg which was better then Matthews who is just one year younger. Had Eichel been healthy and didn't miss the first half of the year this would be the Sabres and capitals.
