Intent or not it was still an interference penalty, just like all the other unintended penalties not because of the outcome, wonder what Keefe said for ref to retaliate that hard

Was it intentional? Heck no! But it should have been a penalty. Nice to see JE#9 show class/sportsmanship. Keefe had every right to be upset. JH86 received a penalty earlier in the game which looked similar but not as severe as this play. I guess the Devils fell victim to the McCauley v. Keefe feud. Ever since Sheldon testified against Wes’ brother in law, it seems like McCauley has been out to get Keefe and biasedly officiates his games. After all, Maple Leafs fans used to say (back when Keefe coached them), “any time Wes officiates our games we’re doomed.”

Well, it is a tripping. Unintentional, I believe Eichel, but still a 4 minutes penalty. Referees acted very childish. Instead of review the collision, they wanted to just to stay right, and so penalized Devils coach instead.
He slew footed 'em with his right skate, regardless of intention. L'Heureux did the same thing, only with his stick, unintentionally, and got three games. I'm sure I'll be laughed at, but Eichel has to be more careful and be held responsible.

Eichel gets hated for no reason, classy & humble guy. Poor guy was treated like shit in Buffalo for needing surgery, they never deserved him at all.
