  1. Sharks had solid forecheck and great goaltending, especially in the 3rd. Celebrini is gonna be a beauty. And yes, you were awesome on the broadcast!

  2. Steve I‘ve been here from the start (basically, almost 17 years) seeing you guys on the Amazon broadcast was so dope. You guys killed it. Cool moment

  3. Oh shut up. The Sharks had 15 wins in 61 games coming into that game. No excuses, that's unacceptable if you are a #1 ranked team going into the 3rd period with a 2-0 lead.

  4. Steve. Fascia is the shade of stupid blind anger from blowing 2-0 leads off the worst team in the league. I guess we just fall back on the standard oh well not gonna win em all !

  5. Maybe the Leafs just felt sorry for the Sharks…use it as a training game. The Playoffs are what count !

  6. Why is Berube sending out JT for a must score shoot out chance ?
Why is Connor Dewar playing instead of Lorentz ?
Why wasn’t the second sharks goal, goalie interference ?
    I hate Amazon Hockey

  7. The difference is Woll gave up 5 and looked genuinely awful all game. Stolarz gave up a bad goal and the team only scored 2. Stolarz still had a .905 this game Woll had an .853!

  8. One of the things I notice when the leafs are tired is Matthews and Nylander always stand up more after losing the puck, rather than taking responsibility and going right after it again

  9. You guys nailed it on the broadcast. Congrats to you and Adam and all the SDP crew for making it this far. Gotta ask though, how much saudi money did you pay that guy to hold up your book beside your head every time the camera was on you?

  10. As soon as the Sharks tied it, I flashed back to your quote about shootouts…. I fell asleep during OT but I didnt need to check the score when I woke up….I knew the Leafs wold lose this one. I mean, the last place team at home and all.

  11. Rielly looked like he was skating in quicksand at the end of regulation. Playing 6 games in about 9 days is a lot. The second night of a back to back after a 4 game road trip pf course there exhausted.

  12. Honestly I don’t care about this loss. The guys are tired. I can’t even imagine how exhausted those guys are with all the games they’ve played and all the travel in between every single game. I’ll take 11/12 points any point of the season

  13. This game won't determine anything. But the ability to potentially pull ahead of Florida for 1st in the Atlantic, and then blow that lead to a dead-last team, is peak Leafs. Something that, as a non-Leafs fan, makes me chuckle.

  14. The Leafs played horribly for most of that SJ game. The first period was filled with so many self-caused turnovers. The 2nd was good and that was it. I don't think anyone had a particularly good game (even stollie was overactive on both goals). Biggest issue was Matthews can't hit the net to save his life right now. Took probably 15 shots and maybe hit the net 3-4 time (none were very dangerous)

  15. As a Lightning fan in the Bay Area, this was a nice consolation prize for our game tonight. I’m with ya, Steve, I hate the Atlantic division.

  16. So here I am and there are many people like me, who pay Ball or Rogers too much money just to watch the buds in 4k, and stupid amazon comes along and were forced to watch in less than 1080p… Prime needs to F off

  17. Hey Steve U know how U say if UR the Goalie then Tend the NET then I have another one if UR a Goal scorer then HIT the NET with UR Shot. Yes the Sharks blocked a lot of shots last night but the Leafs couldn't Hit the broad side of a BARN, maybe they need to put Scopes on their Sticks LOL

  18. Last night I watched the Leafs lose to the 32nd place Sharks and my LA Kings lost to the 31st place Hawks. Mondays

  19. The home crowd was anemic at best and the Sharks are full of players from the GTA who bring their A game for their friends and families. That doesn't make this loss any less pathetic when you look at the standings but I've noticed top teams are more prone to losing to bottom dwellers than middle-rank teams, maybe from the top team trying to take it easy and the bottom-dweller trying to rise to the occasion.
Nonetheless, 1 point is better than no points. No team wins them all.
