If you have an opportunity to trade Kadri for any reasonable value, even a second round pick, I think you need to consider. Dreaming – Kadri for Lian Bichsel (Dallas)? Kadri for Calum Ritchie (Colorado)? Kadri for Easton Cowan (Toronto)? Throw in whatever picks and salary retention for each.
They should, but they won't. The mentality of "let's JUST make or miss the playoffs every year and see what happens" infects every level of this organisation and won't change until this ownership group sells. Conroy is a great GM but his hands are tied.

Why are you selling when in your in a playoff. Yea the offence needs to be better and they need get someone tommorrow. But if you remember 2 years where the islanders offence was absolute crap and they still made the playoffs Washington was terrible last year and they still made the playoffs.
