I would rather do nothing. So you are trading a player like Cozens for something that isn't out there. Sounds pretty dumb

No one is talking about the real problem. The Sabers will never be competitive again unless the NHL deals with it’s parity problem. Get rid of the no trade clause and vary the salary cap based on location. No owner, manager or coach is going to get us out of this hole.

Hasn't scored more than 12 goals in a season. Power forward is not a good way to describe JG. This does not make the team better. If he could fight i might change my mind. But he can't fight so no ty.
Greenway is fine as a 3rd line LW. Has size, can score a little, good penalty killer, is about the only winger on the team who can actually get the puck out of the d-zone along the boards. The problem is he always ends up playing a line or 2 above where he should be slotted because Kev🌴n is incapable of finding top 6 talent.
Unfortunately, win or lose. I'm emotionally withdrawn . I just watch because of 45 yrs plus years of being a Sabres fan.

IMHO, give captaincy to Tuch – more experience, more game passion. Make Rasmus Dahlin a forward (he is pathetic as a defense man) and find a defense man that has some brawn and can clear the crease. Keep playing Cozens and Quinn and they will prove themselves. My 2 cents!
I like Greenway but not for 4 mil. Hes a dime a dozen player who offers a net presence and scores 12 goals at the most. Nice pay day for an oft injured players who played half the year.

Under Granto Buffalo would have made the playoffs if Greenway the coaches Son wasn’t playing career high minutes
