I cannot figure out WHY everyone is so high on Carlo??? Have my eyes been deceiving me the last 2 years? Carlo has looked horrible to me, and think that it's a HUGE overpay for him. Maybe I'm wrong… but I doubt it! He provides ZERO offence and his defense has dropped massively.

You could add B Tanev, B Schenn, B Nelson or any of the available Dmen, but it all boils down to the core 4 doing what they are paid their salaries for. If they ghost like they are famous for then we know how our playoffs are going to go. It is crucial now to win the division to avoid Fla/Tamp in round 1. We need to get behind our boys and hope Tam/Fla pound each other for 7 games before we play one of them.

The gross part about that trade was the leafs offered a better package for MR and got denied because of fears of running into each other in first round….as if Carolina really has a chance to go deep anyways…so frustrating
I think Matthew Tzachuk's injury is way more serious than they led on. I doubt that he and Marchand will ever play together and I'd rather face a panther team with Marchand in the lineup than Tzachuk.

This "live" recorded emergency pod was my favourite part of this years TDL. This and Sammy's "JEEEZUSSS!!" moment on K&B declaring the Rantanen to Toronto attempt as a major "What if?" moment. Can't argue that it would have changed everything but I am happier now than I was 24 hours ago. I am sure every Blue Blood is, with the exception of Minten. If that kid develops the braun to match his brains, that move will come back to bite us like a Bear would be expected to. 🐻
