if you go on Kane's game logs on natural stat trick, go all situations, and sort by on-ice expected goals – his top 3 games all year have been 3 of the last 4 games. he at least is stepping it up in desperate times. as is the Cat. their line was brilliant last game and one could kind of foresee an explosion for them in this game vs a weak up the track opponent.

That first goal tender interference was a garbage call, I've sen way more contact on goalies in other games, goals were scored and not even a thought of a call. The NHL has a major Ref problem, way too many shit calls and a whole lot of missed calls on a nightly basis in every game.The cross checking that is not getting called is a problem. This is not just in Red wings games, I watch a lot of Maple leaf games and it's the same thing and I feel like it's getting worse.
With the chemistry Copp Cat and Kane had is great to see Kasper continue this 2nd line chemistry
Happy to win, but let’s not get too cocky…. FAR from a playoff team imo, with the remaining schedule and not being able to keep the goals against at less than 3 and the god awful PK…. It will take a miracle to stay in it.

Well you know you have a good coach when he said the loss was a better game then the win… buffalo had terrible defense. Kimda think its funny younguys are cheering beating the worst team in the league… dont get ahead of yourseleves.
Tuch scores that short handed breakaway when it was 2-1 it might be a different outcome. Got a save and Kane scored right after.

You guys aren't great at evaluating goaltending. Mrazek kept them in it until the third. It was a one goal game to that point. First goal was a partial screen and a rip from a 50 goal scorer. Second was a bang-bang play after a defensive breakdown (by Edvinsson, who doesn't get enough criticism for his flaws), and the third was a one timer after it bounced off Ed's skate on the PK. Not one of those was bad.
