   They could get back on track if they didn’t have a BRUTAL schedule. Larkin deserves so much better.

   What do they have to do? Bring up Sebastian Cossa to play goal, and Axel Sandin Pelikka to play defense, but it won’t happen with this orgganization because it makes too much sense in a playoff drive.

   Anton was tje best player for Sweden when i saw them play against the US in the Junior showcase in plymouth in 2024

    Win 14 of their last 17, which would give them 96 points which will be about 2 points above a bare minimum to make the playoffs, so a miracle. Their garbage pk is 90% goalies not challenging the shooter, which is why mrazek I believe was grabbed. When your goalie doesn't challenge your forwards are tentative and your d are constantly out of position. Yes mrazeks save % was not good but him challenging the shooter allowed their forwards to take more chances and jump in the play as opposed to playing tentative. Should've had that kind of goalie from the get go with this group smaller but faster forward group that thrives in the transition game. It's a risky way to play but they dont have the depth at d or at goalie to play tentative and not aggressively try to outscore your opponent.

    Nothing to talk about with the Hurricanes?! How about that Mikko Rantanen is no longer on the team lol. Hopefully this gives the Wings a better shot.

    I'm disappointed and perplexed by Yzerman's performance at the trade deadline. We picked up another mediocre, journeyman goalie. Make it make sense. When you have a stud in the wings (Cossa), why trade for another 2nd rate goalie to add to a crowded room of 2nd rate goalies? A waste. He got nothing that can help for this year or beyond, did he?

    Anton Johansson, Anton is the middle child of three children, all play defenseman and they have a cousin in the NHL in Alexander Wennberg.

    Anton's father (Thomas) was an offensive defenseman and a power play specialist and with a booming slap shot. He never played in the NHL, but he was one of 7 defensemen in the Swedish national team during the 90s and early 2000s.

    Mrazek, S.f.Y. like that he had term for next year and RW knows who he is, S.Y. nepotism in full bloom.

    There are 15 goalies who will all become UFAs this summer, apparently S.f.Y. does not think any of them are good enough. The fact that Mrazek did not work previously in RW is less important. It's all about fixing a goalie now so he doesn't have to think about it this summer. Alex is the one who probably will not renew in RW.

    You guys do a great job esp. considering the ups & downs with the Wings this year and last year. They obviously need a #1 goalie going into next season and improved defense. Casper has been terrific both when on the first line and now at center with Cat & Kane.Ray L

    Berggren is a shooter and play maker. There needs to be some players on his line that actually retrieve the puck. Mazur and Copp injuries hurt

    They need to win rest of the season. That will never happen their loosing streaks are just along as their winning streaks they gonna be 500 no playoffs here the pressure is to high

    Pointing the nose straight down and shoot for a top 5 seems so impossible at this juncture but so does actually making the playoffs.

    Thank you Brian for righting that Petr Mrazek ship on his performance. IMO, he had a decent game. Kudos my guy.
