1. Glad the boys turned up the speed tonight. If they keep up that intensity we just might be ok. Let’s Go Wild!

  2. Last night's game was painfully boring, and 3 on 3 was laughably bad. It's just terrible hockey. The only positive from last night's game was Gus. If this team makes playoffs they are going to be EMBARRASSED off the ice and the fans are going to come unglued.

  3. That game for me was a work of art. When someone pick Mackinno pocket was great. We'll done TEAM 👍

  4. Nyqi is finally showing up as well, he had some great back checks and some great opportunities

  5. When we shoot out like that why risk it. I actually agree with the conservative approach against elite talent and out top talent out. We had 2 of the top 5 players in the league just skating around

  6. The AVS hit the post like five times last night. They had MULTIPLE scoring opportunities where the game could have been four or five goals for the avs. Sometimes there are nights where that puck just wont go in. Thats not the Wild locking anyone down my friend. That is the lucky bounce going your way and that happens often to teams. I just did a playoff hockey game and the team who dominated lost even though they outshot the winning team by double. The overtime take is on point. they need to change this up imo

  7. There are no keyboard strokes to spell out Charlie Brown's Teacher words…which is about as coherent as what Hynes said! What I would say is, "Even while Jirecek is capable of playing, the issue is we feel he cannot compensate for the weaknesses that either Bogosian presents or Merrill presents so we fear risking that decision and are punting the football instead of putting David out there…"

  8. This is why Games need to be 3 points, Give the extra to the OTL and make an OTW worth 2, and then if you go to a shootout, The winner gets 1 point and the loser gets none. It puts pressure on the teams to NOT go to OT or a Shootout because you're lowering the amount of points you get for winning the longer the game goes. You'll never get teams and players to accept Continuous OT in the Regular Season especially with Back to Back games being a thing. The playoffs giving teams a Guaranteed rest day and both teams also having played the same game, the playoffs just make more sense for 5 on 5 Continuous OT.

  9. RULES I'D CHANGE…..
    1. Scoring on a delayed penalty doesn't eliminate the penalty. The player still gets the infraction and you still go on the PP or PK.
    2. Eliminate 3 on 3 OT/SO. Make it 5 on 5 OT and NO S/O.
    3. Make all games worth ONLY 2pts. Win = 2pts. Loss = 0pts. Tie = 1pt each.
    4. Eliminate the Wildcard playoff format and go back to 1 plays 8, 2 plays 7, 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5.
    5. Eliminate the NMC completely. Implement an automatic 10-team M-NTC for RFAs and a 16-team M-NTC for UFAs. A player on ELC or a 35 year old player has no trade protection. All players can be sent down BUT only a very small fraction of their cap can be buried in AHL for RFA and UFA players.
    6. Make the #1 overall draft pick available to every team via the draft lottery.
    7. Make retaliatory penalties automatic double-minors. Example: Im skating up the ice and Denny obliterates me with a great clean check and my idiot teammate then wants to fight Denny, my teammate gets a double-minor and Denny gets NO penalty for defending himself against the nonsense….Nobody should have to "answer" for good hits. 😊
