Rangers most definitely need a new GM & coach. These two destroyed team morale early on & a whole new approach is needed.
This started in the off season, with no moves being made except the poor treatment of Goodrow. Then they completely undermined Trouba, but didn't move the "C" to anyone else. Plus one doesn't LEAD by circulating nasty public memos. Finally, there's been zero accountability for players who don't perform – or don't seem to care. Defense has been particularly soft and ineffective.
Clean house – GM and every coach. That is the 'rebuild' the team needs.

Gerard Gallant didn’t have as bad of a season as lav has. If that was the standard why is he still our coach, he should’ve been sacked a long time ago

Im torn on who I'm gonna root for this post season , I can't handle any more rangers country club approach to hockey coasting around half assed effort . I guess it's let's go Avs idk.
Peter needs to go as does the owner.
Time to start over, what a disaster this season has turned into, it's brutal to watch. Dolan will never have a winning team, he just loves money
Well, we certainly didn't accomplish our goals. We regressed as a team. We haven't made our young players more effective. The defense is a wreck. So Housley gets an f. The p.k. is good, but other teams have clearly passed us by .

I think Drury if he stopped giving out NMC to old players on the decline would be a super successful gm. The rangers biggest problem is the owner and development staff. I’d start there
Time for change
Let him go in the summer. He's not the guy and he has not been able to coach the teamplay deficiencies. Not sure who you go after…we had Scott Arneil and Chris Knobloch in the system but let them go because we are not a serious hockey organization. I have no faith in Drury. He can pull off some nifty trades, but the GM's job is not just make trades and draft kids, the GM's job is to lay out the long term plan and foster an identity for the team. Scoring lots of PP goals to give Igor enough breathing room to save our asses day in and day out isn't an identity. I don't know who you replace Laviolette with, but if they hire Joel Quenville I would stop supporting the Rangers. I cannot support a team that would hire someone who looked the other way when one of his players was getting raped by a member of his coaching staff.

I don’t think Drury gets fired. I think you have to fire Lav whether or not it’s his fault unless they surge and make the playoffs. between, Gorton and Drury they failed to build abalanced team when there was a window of opportunity to win the cup.
This team has no heart self value where is the hunger to win to look like a professional? I don’t see it the 4 line cannot be your best line and what about shooting the puck you have to shoot the score I’m just saying
Fire them all. Trade them all the players have quit
