A decent game, the Leafs lost due to defensive lapses. Too many times, Predators were left all alone, usually behind Woll. There was really only one goal Woll might have had, and he kept them in it. A few good saves by Saros too, or it might have looked like a different game.
They seem to lose to all bottom feeders, especially when they can climb in the standings. They choke constantly. This is unacceptable.
That goal off the faceoff- wow fast! Sorry the Leafs lost this one. Onward!
It came down to who wanted the game more. Well, ended up it was the non-playoffs team.
I hate how predictable it is that after playing great hockey all week. In strolls a bottom feeder team like the Preds, on a cold streak, and the Maple Leafs make them look like world beaters as they just quit on the game after 1 period. This was embarrassing and I hope Berube puts them through grueling practice for exposing their fans to… this.
