  1. The devils are my pick for the suprise playoff team, they boosted the d core, already have a great goalie and a healthy hischier this year. On top of that I think Hughes explodes this year

  2. I hope they're competitive but I just can't see it. No legitimate goalie. Kuokkanen & Sharangovich are far from 1st line wingers. Unfortunately we're going to be watching a bottom 10 team again. But hey at least the rangers will be duds again 🤘

  3. The metro is going to be a juggernaut this year, but the Devils could squeeze in. Jack Hughes could definitely break out, and combine that with a good season from Blackwood with the revamped defense, and they could finish as a wild card.

  4. Dougie also led the entire league's dmen in shots. dude takes an absurd amount of shots every game from the point. hard to watch tbh

  5. This season, the Devils will finish 1st in the Metropolitan Division with a 63-12-7 record to capture the Presidents' Trophy for the best record in the NHL with 133 points, beat the Islanders in 5 games in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals, beat the Capitals in 6 games in the Eastern Conference semifinals, sweep the 2-time defending Stanley Cup champion Lightning in 4 games in the Eastern Conference finals and beat the Flames in 5 games to capture their 4th Stanley cup, Chase Stillman, a 2021 1st-round pick (29th overall), will lead all rookies with 58 goals, 75 assists and 133 points and win Hart Trophy, Calder Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy and Ted Lindsay Award honors and lead the Stanley Cup playoffs with 15 goals, 33 assists and 48 points and become the 1st rookie to win the Conn Smythe Trophy since Cam Ward of the Hurricanes in 2006 and the youngest player ever to win it at 19 years old and Mackenzie Blackwood will lead the NHL with 49 wins, 4,698 minutes played, 41 goals against, 2,304 saves, 23 shutouts, 1.82 goals-against average and .946 save percentage and win Vezina Trophy honors.

  6. I think depth scoring is gonna be key for us. We know Hughes, Nico, Yegor, Tomas, Bratter can score. If Zacha can put up another 15-20 goals like last year and same with wood on the bottom 6. I think we can make noise come the back end of the season

  7. Almost a complete new team. If Hischier, Hughes and Hamilton stay healthy it's gonna be an exciting season for the Devils.
