  1. Should not have signed him to that contract Swayman holding out till season started created the problem. Boston makes the Worst Decisions Possible i been a Bruins Fan 58 Years and I have seen some real Bad Deals I stopped watchin them when Trade deadline day was over Might just watch the Panthers.

  2. What are you guys talking about? Fair market value for a goalie who never won anything or played starting goalie amount of starts in their career? Linus won a veznia. Market value for swayman was 6.5 not anywhere near 8 million.

  3. Before next season trade swayman and get rid of all of the coaching staff! This is nowhere close to 66 million goalie: 8,7,6,5 goals allowed whole season and they were his fault. Kings goalie 6 years 6 million, oilers went to Stanley cup with 2.5 million goalie

  4. 11:50 Swayman may have started Oct. 10th, but he played like crap until November. We would have been better off just starting Korpisalo as our no. 1 until after the New Year.

  5. The whole team stinks, i wonder if people saying Swayman's deal is bad because he hasn't won anything is also questioning McAvoy and Pastas money (they haven't won anything either), Zadorov and Elias money (newcomers). Swayman signing was the right thing to do, the way it was done is the problem. Jermaine is right. After the last 2 seasons everybody would pick swayman over ullmark, he is younger, he is not injury prone, he has his whole career ahead of him. Saying today, with the season this team is having, that swayman contract is bad is plain stupid. Given the numbers all contracts in this team s*cks, including Pasta and his unenthusiastic efforts earlier in the season. ✌🏼

  6. Sway is paid over fair market value. He wasn't a proven and isn't a proven full time goalie. Trade him and get a top 6 forward

  7. Send the overpaid Swiss cheese to Providence. Bring up a young, hungry, goal keeper. If not, At least play Korpi for the rest of the season. Over paid mr 5 hole will not win another game 😢

  8. I have no problem with Zadorov or Sacco. The former leads the team in penalties but also +/- rating at +14; next is Koepke at +5. He's not taxing the team out of another player. In fact, it might be better to have rather than a decent d-man (at around $2M-$4M) plus another enforcer who can stabalise that aspect of the game if/when needed..probably back up to $5M. Joe inherited a bloody mess. He has plenty of NHL & coaching experience to do the job. He deserves (and has earned) a fair chance. That said, the real bad contracts that are paying $2M-$4M "extra" ie a premium per year for 8 years are the ones that are taxing the team..costing them that other player they desperately need. And that's why they are left picking up former top picks at the end of their career for $1M or less. Imagine having to sign 3-6 of them to put a team out there? That's mismanagement! And on the Swayman thing..we just saw Adin Hill re-up with Vegas for $6.25M/year. The 28-year-old goalie is 24-11-5 with a 2.54 goals-against average, . 907 save percentage and four shutouts in 40 games this season. Now, compare that to what the Bruins had in mind and where the guy taking business classes took them after the team acted very transparently only to be hoodwinked by the business expert who actually wanted much more than he got. Once guys take a salary that taxes a team out of another player here and there, ya got holes. And if they don't perform at that highest level consistently, then you have another (hole). However, a team can only take on so many of those, particularly in a game that is oft measured in the number of mistakes that are made. Note: I am posting the same sentiments/opinions that I put out months ago. Yeah, the hopium crowd is insane as surely as a fanatic is a one-sided (unbalanced) thinker. Sayin'… 😜
