    The Flames had a ho-hum .500% season—-they definitely underperformed—biggest loss was Mark G. —-the additions are OK but not great–overall ,they remained basically the same–they will not make the playoffs and need to shake things up to move foward in the future IMHO. I see the Kings and Canucks finishing ahead of them.

    On October 8, the Flames will trade Sean Monahan to the Devils in exchange for Scott Wedgewood, Michael McLeod, Fabian Zetterlund and 2022 and 2023 1st-round picks and trade Johnny Gaudreau and a 2022 1st-round pick to the Flyers in exchange for Kevin Hayes, Cam York, Tyson Forester and a 2022 4th-round pick. On October 12, the Flames will name Matthew Tkachuk their 16th captain in franchise history and name Kevin and Rasmus Andersson alternate captains under him.

    I see a lot of people doubting the flames but if they bounce back and play a shutdown style hockey like mtl anything is possible once the playoffs start assuming we know the ceiling is difficult because last year IMO was a wash pretend it doesn’t exist because the environment will be different this year with training camp pre season and fans I expect to see a very different vibe and attitude of the flames with the fans returned

    Lol, the Flames are complete trash. All they know how to do is play as dirty as possible, such a gross team. Waste of a team.

    I see the flames paying for signing players the Canucks didn't want to overpay. Markstrom has followed suit of all goalies leaving Ian Clarke. Longer golf seasons.
