Hagens only at 1ppg while Will Smith put up 1.7ppg with those same linemates who were a year younger at the time. Granted Smith was a year older. Still though for someone who came into the season as consensus #1, that’s a bit of a red flag.
I expect hagens to be a jack hughes type maybe a few points more

Your analysis on Hagens in college doesn't make sense. He was better in the first half compared to the second. You clearly don't watch these players
Some of the comments about these players remind me of what I was hearing about Michael Dal Colle, who was a consensus top five pick his year, and somebody picked in the top 5 this year is going to have a Michael Dal Colle type career.
Craig sucks at his job
I'm guessing the issue with Hagens is that he basically took Will Smith's spot and disappointed compared to him. Though, to be fair, Will Smith was essentially scoring as much as Celebrini and was 1 year older.
The Haggens drop gives me Shane Wright vibes. I don’t know if he drops to six but I highly doubt he goes top three.
i just hope nashville gets a top 2 pick theyre way more deserving than teams like chicago and san jose who imo purposely built weak teams to lose
Can someone explain to me the Matthew Schaefer hype and why is he a lock for #1? He only played 17 games this year and has 22 points, which is good but I don’t get the crazy hype….?
Personally I think Misa is the best player in the draft. Schaefer legit injured himself and limited his play to less than 20 games in his draft year. He produced when he played but with this injury how often will he actually be available.

Grav man, tell us you’ve never seen Schmidt play without telling us. He’s exceptional off the rush, he’s one of the fastest players in the draft, and is lethal offensively. He also doesn’t play small, he engages physically in puck battles and isn’t afraid of bigger players. The only downside to his game is defensively

NHL Central Scouting lists Braeden Cootes at 5'11" not 6'3" as Button has him.

Bruins need to start the tank now for the 26 & 27 draft. Trade Pasta, Mac, Sway and Hampus. Blues have some nice young players that Bruins could build around.
Schaefer looks like Scott Niedermayer.
I really disagree with Hagens being a product of expectations. He just hasn't been good enough frankly and that's ok scouts want to see that increased progression and considering Hagens is playing with Leonard and Perreault 2 of the best players in the NCAA and is only a point per game I don't care that's just not good. He put up pts against bad teams at the WJC and struggled against the good teams and was playing with the best players yet again I think he's been a by product of those players a lot of the time and without them he would probably be outside the top 5 at this point which has to be seriously considered by scouts. I think Frondell with his resurgence and how much scouts love him has probably passed him for a top 5 spot of course it's varying depending on which teams draft where but at this point I think Hagens will go 3-6 I don't think he has a chance to go top 2 anymore
Aitcheson is so good glad you've finally see it Grav I really was surprised when earlier this season you thought his ceiling was a 5/6 dman he definitely has 3/4 dman potential especially if he can translate some of that offensive production to the pro level. I love the way he plays
