Need to treat our youth like fantilli,celebrini, knies etc let them play with the top guys with top minutes so they play against the best and become their best.
NYR will develop him just as they did with Kakko and Laffy lol.
I don’t understand why people think organizations are responsible for the development of professional athletes. They are adults they get paid to do a job when if I under perform at my job. Nobody blames my employer they blame me, but these overpaid athletes. All of a sudden the idea, the reason why they are not doing their job correctly is because of the organization is absolutely insane. Here’s the deal if somebody does not rise to the level, you expected them to rise to, they were overrated and overvalued. There are no excuses, especially when you have enough money to do all the training necessary on your own no matter what organization you’re in it is up to you to put in the work and develop yourself and take yourself where you believe you should be it is nobody else’s fault why you fall short except you’re own. Injury luck be the only exception.
Rangers are not a good organization by any means . They don’t develop well draft well trade well or sign free agents well at all !!
Perreault's ace in the hole is his vision. Laughiolette is not the kind of coach who evolves his young players & that was the case in Washington. Look how McMichael & Protas have blossomed under Carbery. Aubel-Kube is a mediocre player but he's here because of Laughiolette. He sits out Jones for an eternity, now he is a fixture in the lineup whilst Vaak sits. Rangers have some really good prospects, but they need to play with good players to evolve.
We all want it. However, we are not very good at developing. The couches we have now are shit at getting players thru the system with two way skills. The flops are numerous in our HISTORY go have a look in our past…..🫣. Yay frozen 4! 🏒🍸
Watched an AHL game the other night & was really impressed by the system the Cleveland Monsters were using very effectively. I think they are affiliated with Columbus. As soon as the puck was shot in and a D picked it up a Monster forward was on him pressuring. If he passed it to his partner a second Monster forward was on that guy. There was layers of pressure applied on the forecheck that resulted often in O-zone turnovers. This is the system the Rangers should employ, not that passive 1-3-1 BS which allows the opposition to exit the zone with ease. You see the Rangers system employed in Hartford too. Sykora has been disappointing this year to be honest. Two guys who are really stepping it up & raised their prospect status are Roobroek & Chmelar.
One caution: College success doesn't always = success at AHL, which isn't a guarantee of NHL success. Especially not on a team that sits young talent while big minutes go to indifferent or burned out older players.
Rangers should kick the can on Matt Carle as a coach.
bring in prospects as top six…..put those millionires on bottom six….replace defense completely….fire all coaches….and Drury too…..

can't wait for him to get 9 minutes a night on the 4th line for 4 games before he gets sent down to Hartford. The Rangers are terrible when it comes to developing young players and this poor kid is about to waste his rookie season playing for us.
Not if Laviolette is the Head Coach. The whole coaching staff needs to go. Drury should go also but if he doesn’t he gets just 1 year to get it right
