I never knew what to expect from a pro hockey team in Vegas, but they (and a great many of their fans) have just shown me time and again how incredible of an organization they are. I may be a near-lifelong Bolts fan, but VGK are damned alright in my book; gestures like these just serve to keep on reinforcing that opinion!
I just got hit by a puck during an oilers pre-game warm up a couple weeks ago… my arm is still a little bruised, that ish hurts!! But my 9 year old was super stoked to get a puck souvenir! Hopefully he’s okay!
What happened to the nets they used to have around the ice? Someone was killed st a blue jackets game i believe and the NHL put nets in every arena… so i thought
Whoever was handling the puck their needs to go back to college and learn how to actually play hockey. No one should ever shoot the puck and launch it into the crowd I'm sorry but your teammates and the goal are not up in the 3rd row.
I want this to become folklore of how NHL goalies are designated 😀 Sort of like in Korea the 100 day tradition, but here we can just see, which wee ones get pegged with pucks and pop them into goalie gear early.
