  1. California sweep? Just the weekend because Leafs lost to the San Jose Sharks but that game was on Thursday.

  2. Suggestion for Sammy: Try finishing a sentence, and also not beginning it with, "Ah…"

  3. Does anyone else suspect that Kypreos' bedroom walls are covered with Marner posters? This is one of the great man crushes of modern times.

  4. I noticed Kypreos giving the others a "get serious" look. Neither Bourne nor McKee convey a sense of gravitas, as they are too busy trying to get the "smart" remark in. I don't care what either of them think. I'm waiting to see them show that they do think.

  5. Holmberg should NOT be in the playoffs. He rarely does anything out there. He falls down constantly, by far the most in the NHL. He had no points in last years playoffs. Jarnkrok and Robertson also went seven games with zero points. Half of Pontus's goals (6) are empynetters and one goal went off the other team.

  6. Here’s the thing about Armstrong, Blues fans have very mixed feelings about him. I personally think he’s a great GM. About 80%-90% of the players he brings in end up being pretty good pick ups for the team. Unfortunately a good amount of the contracts he gives to players may not be the best. Too many NTCs can lock in the team with guys that may not be worth their contracts “all the time”. But like him or hate him, he’s probably one of the better GMs in the league.

  7. Ovechkin had 15 goals in his first 18 games, then he broke his leg, he was on pace for 70 goals, so if he is not in his prime, he’s not that far away,

  8. Kyler:
Great job in keeping Sammy in check.
Sammy problem, he loves too much..
Us, Leafs fans live on every puck drop , reality is that Leafs are good and they always play down to their opponents and that’s they are a great team..
Still, on every game day there am I chatting GO LEAFS GO, so Sammy I guess I am there with you..
I did see the 1967 Stanley Cup game live well on television .. EXPO 67.. too

  9. why isn't the third line – Domi / laughton / Patches … 4th line Järnkrok / Kampf / Lorentz – this feels good …

  10. Kyprios should watch Marner as close as he watches Nylander. Marner avoids physical contact and puck battles along the boards. If Marner would have waived the NTC, could you imagine Knies, Matthews and Rantenen. That’s a line you win with in the playoffs.

  11. JT would still be one of the best 2nd line centres in the league. If he would take 5 to stay that’s bank. I love how there’s no talk about Reilly average d man making 7 million. No talk of second assist Matthews the highest paid guy in the league. TO eat their own. JT should leave and win a cup like a pile of other TO boys do.
