  1. Whether or not the Habs make the post-season – hope they do – Lane Hutson has been a revelation. Demidov arrives next year, good things happening in Montreal.

  2. Whatever happens, this season is a success. We are turning the corner on the first, and very short, rebuild of the Montreal Canadiens. Our window will open in two years, so anything until then is just gravy. They still have some fantastic players in the pipeline. When they are ready, then the Habs will be contenders.

  3. LOL everytime the Habs have a win, they start this up again. Whether they get that final wild card spot is up to them – they need to win and support their goalies! Go HABS Go! Would love to see it, but why keep guessing every week??

  4. Gee, I remember when TSN experts were people like Bob McKenzie, not some gambling sponsor

  5. I'm sorry but did you go to a proper school or did you go to the algorithm's youtube stats school to write this kind of title ? Click beater.

  6. The Habs, going into games scheduled for this Tuesday Eastern Daylight Time, are in a playoff spot, but barely. That still beats where the Flames and Canucks find themselves at five and six respective standings points back of the Blues for the final Western Conference playoff spot.

  7. I think the habs can make it. It's not a huge deal because they have defensive issues and that doesn't work in playoff hockey. Matheson plays the most minutes on d by quite a bit, and sure he's a nice piece to have on team (in my opinion) but that's not scaring anyone really. They need a better d, but I do think they are a better team than they are generally viewed

Actually it is a big deal because a lot of young guys would get playoff experience, we would get to see who steps up, how our goaltending looks, see if Laine, for example, shines. A lot of different things to look at, and seeing a team play with pressure on sort of shows where we need to improve more clearly

  8. Mikkola’s shot was born of hate,
Now blood-red hands will seal his fate.
The Habs remember, the blades run keen,
    Tonight, they hunt—swift, unseen.

The boards will crack, the ice will stain,
Bone on bone, a world of pain.
No whistle saves, no mercy calls,
He'll pay in blood when vengeance falls
